Morganite was initially discovered in the early 20th century in the state of California. The gem’s name “morganite” was to honor the banker and mineral collector John Pierpont Morgan in 1911. This beautiful floral ring features a 7x5mm (1ct) oval pink Morganite set in either 14k gold or sterling silver.
